Bleazard & Galletta have partnered with Lime Green Associates to provide our clients with cutting edge technology.

All of the services outlined below add significant value to Bleazard & Galletta. Many of these are services we already deliver in-house or commission from specialist providers, and the use of advanced technology allows us to do so more efficiently and to a higher level of detail.

By adopting this technology, we are able to survey buildings quickly while capturing a large volume of accurate information—data that would traditionally take considerably longer to collect. This gives us confidence in the quality of both the survey data and the drawings and plans we produce from it.

Delivering these services in-house also allows us to tailor surveys to the specific needs of each project, providing greater flexibility while avoiding unnecessary additional costs.

Measured building surveys

We undertake detailed measured building surveys to record a building in its current condition, producing accurate floor plans, elevations and sections. This information forms the foundation for all subsequent design work, making accuracy essential from the outset.

For listed buildings or properties within conservation areas, a greater level of detail is often required, from recording architectural features to identifying areas of repair. We also carry out surveys of neighbouring buildings where necessary, for example to assess doors and windows and ensure proposed extensions do not affect rights to light.

Lime Green Associates have invested in advanced surveying technology, using laser scanners to capture highly accurate data which is then processed to deliver drawings with the appropriate level of detail.

Topographical Surveys

A topographical survey provides a detailed representation of a site, showing ground levels and contours, existing buildings, boundaries, trees and vegetation, and visible services. This information forms the foundation for design development, including initial sketches and final scheme plans.

When combined with a building survey, these surveys deliver a comprehensive understanding of both the property (internally and externally) and the wider site in which it sits.

Matterport Imagery

We use a Matterport camera to create high-quality 360° photographic walkthroughs of buildings and sites. These immersive virtual tours allow clients and project teams to explore a property remotely, making them ideal for projects where travel is impractical or multiple stakeholders are involved.

Similar to the virtual tours commonly used by estate agents, this service provides a clear and realistic sense of a building’s layout and character without the need for an in-person visit.

Thermal Imagery

We use a compact thermal imaging camera to help identify areas of heat loss and potential defects within a building. This technology highlights weak points in the building fabric, such as poorly insulated areas, air leakage, and thermal bridging, which may not be visible to the naked eye. Thermal imagery can be a valuable tool in assessing energy efficiency, diagnosing issues, and informing maintenance or improvement strategies.
